My name is Filomeno and I’m a nature photographer based in La Mesa, California.
Growing up I spent a great deal of time pursuing outdoor adventure, whether it was surfing, hiking, or camping. I love traveling the American West and photographing it's landscapes, seascapes, and wildlife. There is no other place I rather be, than being immersed in nature's beauty .
My love for photography started while taking photos of my daughters’ sporting events. From there I explored other genres of photography, such as landscape and astrophotography. My recent passion has been wildlife photography.
I experience great joy and wonder watching and photographing wild animals in their natural environment. I hope viewing my images gives you that same feeling of wonder.
